Bài mẫu Band 8.5+ (Model Answer)
A transformative urban initiative that has significantly revitalized my city is the rollout of an integrated electric transit network paired with weekend pedestrian-only zones around the historic center. Up until a couple of years ago, our downtown core was notorious for gridlocked traffic and hazardous particulate matter levels during peak commuting hours. To combat this, municipal authorities introduced a fleet of zero-emission electric buses alongside subsidized bike-sharing stations. Initially, sceptics doubted whether commuters would ever give up the convenience of private motorbikes. However, once residents experienced the punctuality, seamless contactless payment, and shaded walkways, public adoption surged. Today, the decibel levels along the main boulevards have dropped noticeably, street-side cafes are thriving, and families have reclaimed public spaces for evening strolls.

I would like to talk about the new electric bus and metro network in my city. A few years ago, traffic congestion and air pollution were serious problems during rush hour. Recently, the city introduced clean electric buses and pedestrian walkways around the city center. At first, many people were hesitant to leave their motorbikes at home, but because the buses are air-conditioned, punctual, and affordable, thousands of commuters now use them daily. It has made the air cleaner and the streets much quieter.

Q: Who bears greater responsibility for environmental protection: governments or individuals?
While grassroots habits like recycling cultivate ecological mindfulness, systemic decarbonization hinges on government policy. Only legislation can enforce industrial emission caps and fund renewable energy grids at scale.
💡 Chiến thuật: Phân tách rõ vai trò cá nhân (grassroots mindfulness) và vai trò vĩ mô của nhà nước (systemic decarbonization).
